Education:

Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics (1985).

A follower of Academician Samoilenko A.M., under his supervision in 1989 he defended his candidate's thesis "Oscillating properties of solutions of differential equations with random perturbations", and in 2002 he defended his doctoral thesis "Qualitative and asymptotic analysis of solutions of differential equations with random perturbations". 

Honors and awards.

1) Laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of science and technology in 2012.

2) Commemorative medal named after M. M. Bogolyubov in 2009.

3) Medal named after Hryhoriy Skovoroda of the 2nd degree of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, 2023.

 

Training of scientific personnel.

Under the supervision of Stanzhytskyi O.M., one doctoral dissertation, 10 candidate theses and 5 PhD theses have been prepared and defended. Currently, he supervises 4 PhD doctoral students at Kyiv University and two PhD doctoral students abroad (Kazakhstan).

Head of the interuniversity international seminar "Differential Equations".

Scientific advisor of the school "Differential and Integral Equations" of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

 

Main areas of scientific activity

1.    Ordinary and stochastic differential equations in finite-dimensional spaces (qualitative theory. Invariant sets).

2.    Stochastic evolution equations in infinite-dimensional spaces, in particular stochastic partial differential equations (asymptotic behavior, invariant measures).

3.    Stochastic functional differential equations in infinite-dimensional spaces (solvability, invariant measures)

4.    Optimal control problems (ordinary and stochastic equations, finite-dimensional and infinite-dimensional).

5.    Dynamic equations on time scales (limit behavior). 

  

Scientific and educational and methodological activities

O. M. Stanzhytsky is the author of 170 scientific works, more than 80 of which are included in the scientometric databases Scopus and Web of Science. 27 articles are published in journals of the quartile Q1 and Q2. h-index is 13.
